White like me by Tim Wise is about how much white privilege is still prevalent today. He recounts his childhood by describing how he went to a primarily black kindergarden because his parent did not want him to be not as excepting. When he went to college at Tulane he wanted them to stop doing business with African countries that supported aprtide. People have asked I’m what he has done he says he has done nothing to help and appreciated his “white privilege.” People do not think about thre own group because you know that you are the majority being white has always been easy because they have not faced being treated badly like most blacks.

When David duke was running for president 60% that voted where white. Also, Many laws and benefits mostly considered the poor whites before the acknowledged the blacks for example they had excluded agriculture industry from employment because they were primarily black workers, Home ownership 98 % white took advantage of government mortgage and

Social security paid the whites first than they started to consider the blacks

When Obama was elected thought it would help end racism it did not stop racism. This was only 1 person of 40 million blacks but after this we still have problems with racism because Obama lost white vote.
